Rosacruz Áurea

Jan Leene, que adota mais tarde o nome de Jan van Rijckenborgh, nasceu em Haarlem, Holanda, em 1896. Em 1924, junto com seu irmão Zwier Willem, assenta as primeiras bases para uma verdadeira comunidade espiritual de libertação para a nova era: a Casa Sancti Spiritus. Uma comunidade que cresceu mundialmente até tornar-se uma escola espiritual transfigurística, conhecida pelo nome Escola Espiritual Internacional da Rosacruz Áurea, atualmente com cerca de 175 focos de trabalho em 36 paises. Em 1930, juntou-se a eles a senhora Henriette Stok-Huyser, que adotou mais tarde o nome Catharose de Petri, e foi sua principal colaboradora espiritual.

Em suas exposições sobre a Doutrina Universal, Jan van Rijckenborgh interpretou e esclareceu para o homem de nosso tempo mensagens de várias épocas transmitidas à humanidade como, por exemplo, o Corpus Hermeticum, de Hermes Trismegisto, o evangelho Pistis Sophia e o Tao Te King, de Lao Tsé. Em toda a sua obra ele sempre permaneceu fiel aos objetivos da Rosa-Cruz Clássica do século XVII, como expostos nos manifestos dessa fraternidade. Jan van Rijckenborgh deixou para a humanidade que busca a verdade e a libertação um tesouro espiritual extremamente rico de indicações e auxílios em quarenta obras escritas de próprio punho, algumas delas escritas em conjunto com Catharose de Petri.

Sua meta sempre foi estimular outros homens a chegar ao conhecimento do verdadeiro ser latente no coração, chamado de botão de rosa ou de átomo-centelha-do-espírito.
