"Para onde correis, ó homens, vós que estais
ébrios por vos terdes embebedado com a palavra

Parai e tornai-vos sóbrios! Vede de novo pelos olhos
do vosso coracão ! E se todos vós não podeis fazê-lo,
pelo menos os que estão em condições para tanto
que o façam, pois o mal da ignorância submerge
toda a Terra, leva a alma que está aprisionada no
corpo à ruina e a impede de entrar no porto da
salvacão.
Não permitais, pois, serdes arrastados pela violência
da corrente, mas deixai que aqueles dentre vós, que
estão em condicões de atingir o porto da salvacão,
usem a contracorrente para nele entrar.
Buscai Aquele que vos tomará pela mão e vos conduzirá
pelas portas da Gnosis, onde irradia a clara luz,
na qual não há trevas; onde ninguém está embriagado,
mas todos são sóbrios e elevam o coração para
Aquele que quer ser conhecido."
